The first time I previewed the ipad was when it was released with much fanfare and I was immediately smitten. I have certainly not been A fan of Apple and have kept away from their products like crazy, yet somehow this thing seriously caught in my brain. The moment it was released I went to the Apple store and tried it, like a lot of other men and women, and I stepped out still liking it. I figured I would test it out and walk away reasoning that it was not actually worth the cost or did not perform the way I expected it to. I ended up being altogether wrong. I noticed myself looking up testimonials more or less every single day listening to what other individuals thought about it and inevitably happened to be in a retail outlet when they had a few on hand and I took the plunge. Now, could it swap my need for a notebook? Absolutely no. There are stuff I still need to do that would call for even more storage or applications that can not be executed on the ipad.
