Dicover The Casio CDP-100 Digital Piano For Yourself
May 18th, 2010
If you’re new to playing the piano then you’re probably better off buying one which is affordable, easy to use and aimed at more entry level players. The Casio CDP 100 Piano fits the bill in all these respects. It features stereo sampling of an actual acoustic grand piano and has a full 88 key keyboard with scaled hammer action. On this particular digital piano the scaled hammer action gives it a very natural acoustic feel and it also has three levels of touch sensitivity available. These features give it a more realistic piano experience for beginners. What more could you really ask for in your first portable digital piano?
The Casio CDP-100 digital piano has five different sounds that can be played in an accompaniment to your actual musical pieces, these include stereo grand piano, a thirty-two note polyphony digital sound, eight different digital effects, as well as five different demo songs. There is even an option for a layer and transpose functionality. Other great features include the integrated speakers, headphone jacks, sustain pedal jacks and MIDI sounds. Oh and yes, it does come with a sustain pedal as well. If you’d like a stand for this digital piano you can purchase one separately to suit.
If you’re thinking about buuying a portable digital piano to use for events that require an accompaniment and don’t have access to a decent acoustic piano then the CDP 100 Casio digital piano is the perfect alternative. The only real downsides to this digital piano are that it’s a little more bulky then some of the others on the market and it doesn’t come with a port for you to plug an amplifier into. But this is overshadowed by the fact that for a simple and affordable starting, entry level type of digital piano, the sound it provides is realistically piano like and does not sound like its coming from a digital music box of some sort. Most professional pianists opt to use this for those instances that a piano is not readily available. Now a digital piano may never be quite as good as the real thing but this is a pretty good alternative that also happens to be good value for money. This is a real find.
